This webinar will take place on 10 June 2026, from 15:00 to 16:30 CET, as part of the Climate-Compatible Financial Systems at Subnational Level (CCF) Webinar Series.

The session will explore how subnational institutions and financial intermediaries can access and mobilise green finance for local climate action. Building on the first webinar, it will focus on practical pathways for connecting subnational investment needs with domestic and international climate finance sources, including climate funds, concessional finance, blended finance, grants, green bonds, and project preparation facilities.

Through case studies from Africa and Latin America, the webinar will highlight how financial intermediaries, development banks, and decentralised funding mechanisms can help overcome access barriers, strengthen project pipelines, and channel climate finance to the local level.
