This document presents the “Innovative Climate Risk Insurance in Rural Areas of India (ICRI)” project, which aims to strengthen the resilience of rural communities against increasing climate-related extreme weather events through climate risk insurance. It describes how the project supports capacity building, technology use, and policy dialogue to improve insurance systems and climate adaptation in India.
