In our work, we support national institutions in areas such as accessing climate funds, preparing for and maintaining accreditation, developing projects and concept notes, undertaking strategic country planning, and facilitating exchanges between Direct Access Entities (DAEs) and National Designated Authorities (NDAs). We also act as a knowledge hub within GIZ, connecting countries, practitioners, and development partners, and contributing to international discussions on climate finance.  <\/p><p>Throughout our work, we saw how often partners struggle to find reliable and clear information about climate finance. Key guidance exists, but is spread across different funds, platforms, and institutions. Many stakeholders told us that they felt overwhelmed by the complexity of processes, or simply did not know where to begin. This is why we decided to create the <i>Community of Climate Finance Access<\/i>.   <\/p><p>Our intention was simple: to build a space that brings essential information together in one accessible, easy-to-navigate place. A platform where users can quickly understand the basics, dive deeper into specific topics, and find helpful tools without needing to search across dozens of different sources. <\/p><p>To develop this page, we drew on our experience from working directly with NDAs, DAEs, ministries, and practitioners in partner countries. We also collected information from our project activities, international exchanges, and publicly available resources from climate funds and relevant institutions. In addition, we included the practical questions we hear repeatedly in trainings, workshops, and peer-to-peer formats\u2014because these often indicate what users really need.  <\/p><p>Ultimately, this platform reflects our goal as PfR: to support countries in navigating the climate finance landscape more confidently and independently.
